A very elegant hematite pendant necklace handmade with silver filled wire and completed with a silver plated chain.
An elegant pendant to wear on any occasion and a lovely gift for someone special. The pendant is completed with a silver plated chain.
I have shaped silver filled wire into a teardrop shape and added a shinny hematite bead with a swirl detail at the top. This pendant is made using a wire wrapping techniques.
Length from the top of the pendant is 4.5 cm (1 3/4 inches) width 1.2 cm (1/2 inch). The silver plated chain is 45 cm (18 inches). All measurements are approximate.

Silver Filled – Silver filled wire is 10% sterling silver filled copper wire (sterling silver bonded to a copper centre). It has a much thicker layer of sterling silver and is more durable than silver plated wire.
