Description
A knitting pattern for 3 sets of mittens covering the ages 4 to 13 years with Panda, Sheep and Fox motifs.
The mittens are easy to knit and there are large, coloured charts to follow for the animals which can be incorporated whilst knitting or embroidered on afterwards.
YARN
Any Aran/Worsted yarn (10 ply) can be used so long as it gives the same tension of 18 sts and 24 rows to 10 cm (4 inches) over stocking stitch with 5 mm (UK6 – US8) needles.
The pattern contains suggestions for the yarn to use for each of the 3 mittens.
Knitting Needles – 1 pair of 5 mm (UK6 – US8) and 1 pair of 4 mm (UK8 – US6)
