Description
Spring is on its way and this beautifully crafted clutch bag is perfect for the season, as well as retaining its attraction throughout the year! I was inspired to create the appliqued design of cherry blossom by the cherry trees that have such exquisite blossom in the spring. Some of the flowers are made from fabric that I marbled in shades of red and pink while others are made from pale pink silk damask. I have enhanced them with machine stitching in variegated thread.
I have made the bag itself from upcycled pale green curtain fabric, which has a slight sheen and which I have backed with fusible interfacing and fleece to give structure to the clutch. I have used the same fabric for the detachable wrist strap.
Inside the bag, you will find that it is fully lined in the same pale pink silk damask that I have included as the backdrop in some of the photos. This fabric was originally woven for my wedding dress and the piece used for the lining was a remnant from when I made the dress. I’ve included a zipped pocket and a slip in pocket within the lining.
This is a unique item that I am sure you would love to own and use for those special occasions.

For most items, I will send your order with Royal Mail, 2nd class, unless you request a different method (such as first class or tracked) in which case an additional charge will be made.
Because I want my business to be as sustainable and ecofriendly as possible, I will send your order in reused packaging if I have any that is suitable. I hope you will agree that it's the quality of what's inside the packet that's important, rather than the aesthetics of the outer packaging.
If you would like your purchase to be sent directly as a gift to a recipient with a different address in UK, please let me know and I will gift wrap the item in tissue paper and include a gift tag with a handwritten message of your choice.
Refund Policy
If you wish to cancel your order, please do so within 24 hours of ordering so that I can issue a refund before dispatch.
If there is a problem with your order when you have received it, please contact me within 30 days of your order being placed. I will issue a refund, on the return of the product, providing that it is returned in the same condition as it was dispatched.
