Teacup Suncatcher Stained Glass Coffee Cup

by JOYSOFGLASS

£20.00

A Tea or Coffee Cup, a suncatcher to hang in the window and catch and cast the light.

Stained Glass hand-crafted using the Tiffany Copper-foil technique.

A lovely, absolutely unique present for any occasion .

I designed this originally as a gift for a friend who runs Lady Foley’s Tearoom at Malvern  Station and have made several more since.

The cup and saucer are green and turquoise decorated in the centre with millefiori slices in  matching colours.

The drink in the top is a little bit frothy and can be tea or coffee according to your preference.

As I only drink coffee then that is what it is to me .

Like all my suncatchers, handmade with love and designed to hang in the window and catch the sunshine.

Made by Joy and entirely handmade with love.

Postage is via Royal Mail first class small package.

Description

A  Teacup, a stained glass suncatcher.

Handmade with love and designed to hang in the window and catch the light.

Each piece of glass is individually cut, shaped  on my grinder then carefully wrapped in copper foil and burnished before all the pieces are soldered together.

This will make a super, unique present for anyone but especially a tea or coffee lover.

It looks lovely hanging in the window where the colours catch the light and makes a lovely ornament for any room.

The suncatcher hangs from a little chain which is securely attached to the top. I always supply a suction hook so the suncatcher comes ready for you to hang.

I attach the chain using split rings so you can if you prefer replace it, maybe with a ribbon, quite easily.

Please note that no two of my suncatchers are ever the same even to the  same design.

I deliberately don’t keep a record of the types of glass used so it is pretty impossible for me to make an exact match and that is my intention. I like all my pieces to be unique and I always use different combinations of glass.
