Boating Lake Stained Glass Suncatcher Picture Sailing

by JOYSOFGLASS

£27.50

A sailboat on a turquoise lake surrounded by green hills. A Suncatcher.

Stained Glass hand-crafted using the Tiffany Copper-foil technique.

It is a striking ‘picture’ of a boating lake, maybe in the Lake District National Park.

The little yach has a bright red hull, a blue flag and bright white sails. It is scudding along on the iridescent turquose waters of the lake and the lake is surrounded by green fields and hills.
All under a lovely sunny blue sky with a few white scudding clouds on the hill top.

I’ve captured the scene for you as best I can in glass.

I’ve framed the picture in clear glass with a delicate texture and blue corners for a pretty effect and the outer edge is framed with twisted wire for strength and neatness..

This looks lovely when it hangs in the light  of a window but can equally be used as a picture against a plain wall..

It is 15.5 x 18.5 and hangs from a strong silvery chain which is securely attached at either side of the top.

Made by Joy and entirely handmade with love.

Description

A sailboat on a bright turquoise lake surrounded by green fields and hills as a stained glass suncatcher.

Handmade with love and designed to hang in the window and catch the light.

Each piece of glass is individually cut, shaped  on my grinder then carefully wrapped in copper foil and burnished before all the pieces are soldered together.

This will make a super, unique present for anyone.

It looks lovely hanging in the window where the colours catch the light and makes a lovely ornament for any room.

The suncatcher hangs from a little chain which is securely attached to the top. I always supply a suction hook so the suncatcher comes ready for you to hang.

Please note that no two of my suncatchers are ever the same even to the  same design.

I deliberately don’t keep a record of the types of glass used so it is pretty impossible for me to make an exact match and that is my intention. I like all my pieces to be unique and I always use different combinations of glass.

Posted out Royal Mail first class signed for with lots of padding to keep it safe on its journey to you
