by JOYSOFGLASS

£30.00

A Celtic Eternal Knot, a Rainbow Maze design.
Stained Glass hand-crafted using the Tiffany Copper-foil technique.
A suncatcher in rainbow colours on a base of bright green water glass. With an added special shimmer of precious dichroic glass , using 3 little squares in the centre of the maze.

The Celtic knot  is cut from two full sets of rainbow colours and is beautifully bright.

The suncatcher is 14cm square and hangs 19.5cm high from the top corner.

It really does do look lovely hanging in the window catching the light and could also make a gorgeous picture hanging on the wall instead of in the window..
Made with and by Joy to be given with love.

Description

Celtric Maze. An abstract vibrantly coloured suncatcher based on an Eternal Knot, Celtic style which I’ve used as a rainbow maze weaving through a bright green background.

Like all my suncatchers, this is entirely handcrafted with love and designed to hang in the window and catch the light. It is designed to hang in the window but also looks rather special as a wall hanging.

This piece is 14cm square hanging from a strong chain.
There are 41 individual pieces of glass in this piece with 3 central squares of dichroic precious glass.

Each piece of glass is individually cut, shaped then carefully wrapped in copper foil before all the pieces are soldered together to create the suncatcher.   I have framed the outer edge of the borders with twisted wire for strength and neatness. I then added a little wire ring for hanging to the top corner.

The suncatcher hangs from a silver chain which is securely attached to the wire ring at the top. I always supply a strong suction hook so it comes ready for you to hang. I attach the chain using split rings so you can replace it, maybe with a ribbon, quite easily.

Please note that no two of my suncatchers  are ever the same even to the same design. I deliberately don’t keep a record of the types of glass used so it is pretty impossible for me to make an exact match and that is my intention. I like all my pieces to be unique and I always use different combinations of glass.
