Flower Show Suncatcher Stained Glass Handmade

£32.50

A Flower Show Suncatcher.

Stained Glass hand-crafted using the Tiffany Copper-foil technique.

One of my very own designs and I think it is quite stunning and very special.

A design inspired in summer by the gorgeous floral displays at the Chelsea Flower Show.

I’ve made a vibrantly coloured flower in shades of red and amber and yellow and infilled the picture with the other colours of the rainbow.

The centre of the flower is a rather gorgeous dichroic glass nugget fused in my kiln and I’ve framed my flower with prettily textured clear glass with green corners to the frame to complete the colour spectrum.

This is beautifully bright and cheerful and casts really lovely colours when it hangs in the light  of a window.  A very special suncatcher to brighten your room and your life.

It is 16cm square diameter and hangs from a strong silvery chain which is securely attached at either side of the top.

The suncatcher is framed with twisted wire to strengthen and neaten.

It looks lovely when it hangs in the light  of a window but can equally be used as a picture against a plain wall..

Made by Joy and entirely handmade with love.

Description

A floral picture as a stained glass suncatcher.

Handmade with love and designed to hang in the window and catch the light.

Each piece of glass is individually cut, shaped  on my grinder then carefully wrapped in copper foil and burnished before all the pieces are soldered together.

This will make a super, unique present for anyone.

It looks lovely hanging in the window where the colours catch the light and makes a lovely ornament for any room.

The suncatcher hangs from a little chain which is securely attached to the top. I always supply a suction hook so the suncatcher comes ready for you to hang.

I attach the chain using split rings so you can if you prefer replace it, maybe with a ribbon, quite easily.

Please note that no two of my suncatchers are ever the same even to the  same design.

I deliberately don’t keep a record of the types of glass used so it is pretty impossible for me to make an exact match and that is my intention. I like all my pieces to be unique and I always use different combinations of glass.

Posted out Royal Mail first class signed for in a strong and innovative box with lots of padding to keep it safe on its journey to you
