Framed Flower Suncatcher Stained Glass Dahlia Handmade

£32.50

A Framed Floral Suncatcher.

Stained Glass hand-crafted using the Tiffany Copper-foil technique.

One of my very own designs and I think it is quite stunning and very special.

A new summer design inspired quite simply by my need to make something new.

Not sure what variety of flower I have drawn but as I have dahlias outside my window it is probably one of those.

I’ve made a deep multi-petaled rose red flower using 3 types of lovely deep pinky rose glass.

I’ve added a few little green leaves and filled the surround with different shades of purple and plum and palest rose red.

Then framed in 2 shades of purple and with blue corners to set it all off.

I see this as a traditional style piece of stained glass but with a modern twist in its colouring.

The Suncatcher is framed with twisted wire to neaten and also strengthen.

This is beautifully bright and cheerful and casts really lovely colours when it hangs in the light of a window but also makes a very attractive picture hanging on the wall.

It is 14.5 cm x 18cm and hangs from a strong silvery chain which is securely attached at either side of the top.

Made by Joy and entirely handmade with love.

Postage is via Royal Mail first class signed for small package.

Description

A floral picture as a stained glass suncatcher.

Handmade with love and designed to hang in the window and catch the light.

Each piece of glass is individually cut, shaped  on my grinder then carefully wrapped in copper foil and burnished before all the pieces are soldered together.

This will make a super, unique present for anyone.

It looks lovely hanging in the window where the colours catch the light and makes a lovely ornament for any room.

The suncatcher hangs from a little chain which is securely attached to the top. I always supply a suction hook so the suncatcher comes ready for you to hang.

I attach the chain using split rings so you can if you prefer replace it, maybe with a ribbon, quite easily.

Please note that no two of my suncatchers are ever the same even to the  same design.

I deliberately don’t keep a record of the types of glass used so it is pretty impossible for me to make an exact match and that is my intention. I like all my pieces to be unique and I always use different combinations of glass.

Posted out Royal Mail first class signed for in a strong and innovative box with lots of padding to keep it safe on its journey to you
