Sunflowers say Summer like no other flower and this knitting pattern for a sunny sunflower cushion and buzzy bee is perfect for your favourite garden chair.
Measurements 40 cm x 40 cm (16in x 16in)
The cushion cover is knitted in one piece and the back has a four button opening. The sunflowers and bee are knitted separately and sewn onto the cushion afterwards.
Materials – All Double Knitting (8 ply)
1 – 100 gram ball of White
1 – 100 gram ball of Bright Yellow
1 – 100 gram ball of Black
1 pair of 4 mm (UK8 – USA6) and 1 pair of 3¼ mm (UK10 – USA3) knitting needles
4 buttons
Any double knitting (8 ply) yarn can be used so long as it matches the
Tension – 22 stitches and 28 rows to 10 cm (4 in) over stocking (stockinette) stitch on 4 mm (UK8 – USA6) needles
