Description
The outer fabric used for this case is a remnant of navy cord which has been backed with fusible interfacing. On the front, I have appliqued a clematis flower made from pink and green batik cotton fabrics and enhanced it with machine stitching. It is lined in an offcut of navy and light blue floral printed fabric and inside there are four pages made from pale blue felt which have been machine stitched around the edges with blanket stitch.
The case closes with a ribbon loop over a navy metalic button.
The case measures 11cm x 10cm when closed (4.5 x 4 inches)
I don’t know where I’d be without my needle case which I have used as the basis for this design. I’m sure it would make a lovely gift for someone who enjoys sewing or is embracing the ethos of mending rather than throwing out items of clothing showing wear. I also have another one available, as shown in the final photo.

For most items, I will send your order with Royal Mail, 2nd class, unless you request a different method (such as first class or tracked) in which case an additional charge will be made.
Because I want my business to be as sustainable and ecofriendly as possible, I will send your order in reused packaging if I have any that is suitable. I hope you will agree that it's the quality of what's inside the packet that's important, rather than the aesthetics of the outer packaging.
If you would like your purchase to be sent directly as a gift to a recipient with a different address in UK, please let me know and I will gift wrap the item in tissue paper and include a gift tag with a handwritten message of your choice.
Refund Policy
If you wish to cancel your order, please do so within 24 hours of ordering so that I can issue a refund before dispatch.
If there is a problem with your order when you have received it, please contact me within 30 days of your order being placed. I will issue a refund, on the return of the product, providing that it is returned in the same condition as it was dispatched.
