Octagon Crystal Suncatcher Stained Glass Abstract

by JOYSOFGLASS

£22.50

An Octagon Suncatcher in gorgeous pastel shades with an enormous crystal in the centre.

Stained Glass hand-crafted using the Tiffany Copper-foil technique.

I designed it especially to hold the crystal and have used very pretty textured, iridescent glass for the inner ring and pale and streaky turquoises and pinks for the outer to match the sheen and shades of the iridescent glass and enhance the sparkle of the central crystal.

It is 14 cm in diameter and hangs from a little silvery chain which is securely attached to the top of the suncatcher.

The photos show you the different colours and the textures of the glass and the facets of the crystal. .

This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece to ensure they are unique.

I supply it with a strong suction hook so it is all ready to hang.

Made by Joy and entirely handmade with love.

Postage is via Royal Mail first class small package.

Description

A Crystal Octagon stained glass suncatcher.

Handmade with love and designed to hang in the window and catch the light.

Each piece of glass is individually cut, shaped  on my grinder then carefully wrapped in copper foil and burnished before all the pieces are soldered together. I then add any embellishments such as the Crystal on the chain representing a star.

This will make a super, unique present for anyone but especially a child.

It looks lovely hanging in the window where the colours catch the light and makes a lovely ornament for any room.  Please note though this makes a lovely decoration for a child’s room it is not a toy but an ornament made of glass and not a toy.

The car hangs from a little chain which is securely attached to the top. I always supply a suction hook so the suncatcher comes ready for you to hang.

I attach the chain using split rings so you can if you prefer replace it, maybe with a ribbon, quite easily.

Please note that no two of my suncatchers are ever the same even to the  same design.

I deliberately don’t keep a record of the types of glass used so it is pretty impossible for me to make an exact match and that is my intention. I like all my pieces to be unique and I always use different combinations of glass.

Posted out Royal Mail first class in a strong and innovative box with lots of padding to keep it safe on its journey to you
