Phoenix Suncatcher Stained Glass Feathers Handmade

by JOYSOFGLASS

£35.00

A gorgeous Suncatcher which I’ve named Phoenix Feathers. Handmade and absolutely unique.

Stained Glass hand-crafted using the Tiffany Copper-foil technique.

A vibrantly coloured abstract suncatcher depicting feathers swirling out from a 3cm super shiny chandeloer which I have made in the shape of a ring, 15cm in diameter.

I’ve used a favourite combation of colours of mne : red, turquoise, blue and a little purple and cranberry.

Lots of different types of glass, streaky, iridescent, textured so it is full of movement.

There are 22 pieces of glass in this piece all different sizes and shapes, as well as the large crystal, each individually cut, copper foiled and then soldered together.

I have added a twisted wire frame to the suncatcher to neaten and strengthen.

Made by Joy and entirely handmade with love.

Postage is via Royal Mail first class signed for small package.

Description

A beautiful vibrantly coloured stained glass suncatcher which I have titled Phoenix Feathers.

Handmade with love and designed to hang in the window and catch the light.

Each piece of glass is individually cut, shaped  on my grinder then carefully wrapped in copper foil and burnished before all the pieces are soldered together.

This will make a super, very special gift for anyone, absolutely unique and handmade in the UK.

The suncatcher hangs from a little chain which is securely attached to the top. I always supply a suction hook so the suncatcher comes ready for you to hang.

I attach the chain using split rings so you can if you prefer replace it, maybe with a ribbon, quite easily.

Please note that no two of my suncatchers are ever the same even to the same design.

I deliberately don’t keep a record of the types of glass used so it is pretty impossible for me to make an exact match and that is my intention. I like all my pieces to be unique and I always use different combinations of glass.

Posted out Royal Mail first class signed for with lots of padding to keep it safe on its journey to you
