Piano Keyboard Stained Glass Suncatcher Handmade Rainbow

by JOYSOFGLASS

£15.00

A Stained glass suncatcher.  A piano, a keyboard, an octave of 7 keys in shiny streaky white glass.
Hand-crafted using the Tiffany Copper-foil technique.

I’ve cut the accidental keys, not in black like a real piano, but from five rainbow shades of glass.

To give it a more attractive shape I’ve formed the keyboard on a slight curve and framed it for strength and neatness with twisted wire.

It is 12 x 6 cm and hangs from a silver little chain securely attached at either side of the top by soldered rings.

Made with and by Joy to be given with love.

Postage is charged as Royal Mail 1st class small package.

Description

This is a  piano keyboard or at least a section, a 7 key octave, of one.

The keys are white streaky glass. The accidental, sharp and flat keys are rainbow colours to make it more colourful.
A perfect gift for a musician, a pianist.

Like all my suncatchers, handmade with love and designed to hang in the window and catch the sunshine.

Each piece of glass is individually cut, shaped and copper foiled and then soldered together.   I then solder on little wire rings for hanging.

It is 12cm x 6cm and hangs from a little silver chain which is securely attached to the top. I always supply a strong suction hook so it comes ready for you to hang. I attach the chain using split rings so you can replace it, maybe with a ribbon, quite easily.

Please note that no two of my suncatchers  are ever the same even to the same design. I deliberately don’t keep a record of the types of glass used so it is pretty impossible for me to make an exact match and that is my intention. I like all my pieces to be unique and I always use different combinations of glass.
