Picos Mountains Picture Suncatcher Stained Glass

by JOYSOFGLASS

£25.00

A Sea view and Mountain picture, a Suncatcher.

Stained Glass hand-crafted using the Tiffany Copper-foil technique.

It is a striking ‘picture’ of the Picos Mountains in the North of Spain, the Costa Verde.

Shown from the brillantly coloured aquamarine sea, across the breaking surf, the golden sands, past the little rockpools which are full of treasures, to the bright green hills and then the stunning peaks of the mountains. All under a lovely blue sky with a few white scudding clouds on the mountain tops.

I’ve captured the scene for you as best I can in glass.

I’ve framed the picture in clear glass with a delicate texture for good effect.

The two little rock pools are dichroic fusing glass as this is the very best glass for sparkle.

This looks lovely when it hangs in the light  of a window but can equally be used as a picture against a plain wall..

It is 14.5cm square and hangs from a strong silvery chain which is securely attached at either side of the top.

Made by Joy and entirely handmade with love.

Postage is via Royal Mail first class small package.

Description

A Mountain and SeaView Landscape as a stained glass suncatcher.

Handmade with love and designed to hang in the window and catch the light.

Each piece of glass is individually cut, shaped  on my grinder then carefully wrapped in copper foil and burnished before all the pieces are soldered together.

This will make a super, unique present for anyone.

It looks lovely hanging in the window where the colours catch the light and makes a lovely ornament for any room.

The suncatcher hangs from a little chain which is securely attached to the top. I always supply a suction hook so the suncatcher comes ready for you to hang.

I attach the chain using split rings so you can if you prefer replace it, maybe with a ribbon, quite easily.

Please note that no two of my suncatchers are ever the same even to the  same design.

I deliberately don’t keep a record of the types of glass used so it is pretty impossible for me to make an exact match and that is my intention. I like all my pieces to be unique and I always use different combinations of glass.

Posted out Royal Mail first class in a strong and innovative box with lots of padding to keep it safe on its journey to you
