Here’s a convenient way of storing and carrying around your best pens, crochet hooks or other small tools which have a maximum length of 15cm. Made from offcuts of cotton print fabrics in shades of predominantly pink and purple, the outside is in patchwork strips and inside there are 13 separate slots.
It closes by being rolled up and tied with a ribbon.

A great gift idea, if you didn’t want to keep it for yourself!

Description

With an outer layer made from patchwork strips of cotton print fabrics in various shades of predominantly pink and purple, this is a practical gift idea that could appeal particularly to those with a passion for pink!  Inside, the light lavender purple fabric is stitched to provide 13 separate slots for pens, crochet hooks, make-up brushes or other small tools that are not more than 15cm long.  The top folds down to keep the contents secure when it is rolled up.

The slots are 2.5cm wide except for the ones at the edge which are slightly narrower.

When laid fully open, it measures 31cm x 20cm (12.5 x 7.5 inches) and the top 4.5cm (2 inches) fold down.

I have one of these which I use for pens and find it invaluable, and I imagine that it would make a lovely gift.  There are other rolls as seen in the final photo.
