When I first designed this bag, I intended it as a belt or bum bag but then realised that by making the belt adjustable the bag could alternatively be carried across the body or on  your shoulder.  I love versatility and if you do too, this could be just the bag for you!

I have made the bag from a remnant of green cotton fabric that has a slight sheen to it and I backed this with fusible Decovil – an interfacing with leather-like qualities – to give the bag structure.  On the flap, I have appliqued three cacti and added details with machine embroidery.  The flap closes with a magnetic snap.

I lined the bag with a remnant of cotton print fabric and included a zipped pocket and a slip-in pocket in the lining.

As you can see, there are loops on the sides of the bag to which the belt or strap can be clipped.  The bag is supplied with a black polypropylene adjustable belt.  This has a maximum length of 130cm (51 inches) and a minimum length of 75cm (30 inches) with the lobster claw clips.  As a bum bag, including the width of the bag, this would fit a hip measurement of  between 100cm and 155cm (39 – 61 inches).  Please notify me at the time of ordering if you need the strap to be shorter or longer than this and I can alter it for you before dispatch.
