Treasure Chest Suncatcher Stained Glass Handmade Abstract

by JOYSOFGLASS

£35.00

Treasure Chest, an abstract jewel design of Suncatcher.

Stained Glass hand-crafted using the Tiffany Copper-foil technique.

A new design when I wanted to make something dramatic and challenging.

An entirely modern abstract design which I’ve cut from 30 different shades and types of rich jewel coloured glass.  I’ve added sparkling multi-faceted crystals to give it special focal points.

I’ve bordered my vibrantly coloured abstract design with prettily textured clear glass then added a strengthening framer of twsted wire.

This is 19.5 cm x 17 cm and hangs from a little silvery chain which is securely attached to the top of the suncatcher.
As this piece is heavy I recommend it is hung from a permanent hook rather than just the suction hook which I supply with it.

It hangs from a little sivery chain and I supply it with a strong suction hook so it is all ready to hang.

Made by Joy and entirely handmade with love.

Description

A Treasure Chest Stained Glass Suncatcher.

Handmade with love and designed to hang in the window and catch the light. It also looks rather lovely hanging on the wall as a little picture.

Each piece of glass is individually cut, shaped  on my grinder then carefully wrapped in copper foil and burnished before all the pieces are soldered together.

This will make a super, unique present.

The suncatcher hangs from a little chain which is securely attached to the top. I always supply a suction hook so the suncatcher comes ready for you to hang.

I attach the chain using split rings so you can if you prefer replace it, maybe with a ribbon, quite easily.

Please note that no two of my suncatchers are ever the same even to the  same design.

I deliberately don’t keep a record of the types of glass used so it is pretty impossible for me to make an exact match and that is my intention. I like all my pieces to be unique and I always use different combinations of glass.

Posted out Royal Mail first class signed for with lots of padding to keep it safe on its journey to you
