Description
A very pretty lacy dress and shrug knitting pattern for babies and toddlers aged newborn to 24 months.
Knitted in double knitting yarn and perfect for a special occasion. The illustrated pattern is colour-coded for each size so it is easy to follow.
Garter stitch is used for the yoke of the sleeveless dress which makes this design easy to knit as there are no separate edgings for the armholes and neckline.
The Shrug is knitted in one piece until the sleeves and a pretty lacy edging is added to the front.
Yarn: Double Knitting Yarn (8 ply)
Knitting Needles: 1 pair 4 mm (UK8 – ) and 1 pair of 3 ¼ mm (UK10 – USA3)
Tension: 22 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) in stockinette stitch
