Processing your order:

As soon as I receive your order, I will begin processing it.
Stock orders will be dispatched within three working days using Royal Mail.

Custom order dispatch times will vary depending on the piece, but I will keep in contact with you throughout the making process.

Proof of purchase is obtained for all orders and tracking information will be provided. I cannot be held responsible for any postal delays.

All of my parcels leave me well packaged with care. Should your item arrive damaged please contact me immediately.

If you have ordered more than one item, these will ship together.

I completely understand that you’d love to receive your jewellery as quickly as possible and I always aim to complete an order and ship it as soon as I can.
If you have any questions or a particular deadline then please do get in touch prior to purchase.

Denalis Jewellery Privacy Policy:
I, Denise de Gromoboy, am the data-controller of your personal information as it relates to my shop Denalis Jewellery on Buy Indie.

When you place an order from me, I will receive your name, delivery address, telephone number and email address from Buy Indie in order to process your order. I will only use these details to process and deliver your order or to deal with any queries you have related to that order.

The only circumstances in which I will share your data are in processing your Buy Indie order or complying with the law. I will never use or pass on your information to third parties for marketing purposes or any other purpose, other than the circumstances listed below, or add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent. The circumstances in which I may share your data are:
• With Buy Indie to comply with my obligations.
• With mail delivery companies or couriers in order to fulfill your order.
• To comply with any legal or tax obligations that I have.

I will only retain your details for as long as necessary and in order to process the transaction and I will securely store any data collected during that period. I retain personal data related to orders or customer queries for six years. After this time, I will delete your data from my records.

You have the right to know what personal data I hold about you, and to ask for that data to be changed or deleted. You also have the right to complain to the ICO if you believe there is a problem with the way I handle your data.

This privacy policy only relates to Denalis Jewellery. It does not relate to the practices of third parties over whom I have no control notably Buy Indie and Stripe (payment processing). These organisations have their own privacy policies which can be found at the following links:

Refund Policy

If you aren't happy with your order, it isn't as expected or it is faulty then I am happy to accept returns or offer exchanges*. Please contact me at denise@denalis.co.uk as soon as possible or within 14 days of the delivery date and I’ll guide you through the next steps. Items must be returned within 30 days of delivery.

*Please understand however that unless items are damaged or faulty, I’m not legally obliged to accept returns for personalised orders where they can't be resold.

Customers are responsible for return postage costs unless the items are faulty. I recommend using a tracked service and obtaining proof of posting from Royal Mail.

To be eligible for a refund, items must be returned carefully packed, in their original packaging, unworn and in a resaleable condition.
If jewellery is not returned in its original state, the customer is responsible for any loss in value.
For hygiene reasons, I cannot accept returns of earrings unless they are faulty.

Damaged or Faulty Orders:
If the packaging of your order is obviously damaged due to postal mishandling, please take clear photos of the damage prior to opening. Once opened please take photos of any subsequent damage caused to your order. This will help me in filing a claim.

If you believe your item to be faulty, please do get in contact with your concerns, attaching clear photographs of the fault, to enable me to find the best way to help.

In either situation please either contact me by email at denise@denalis.co.uk within 14 days of delivery. If your item needs to be returned I will refund the postal cost for damaged or faulty items.

When returning an item, please include the following details:
Your original invoice or a note of your name, order number (if available), the email address used to place the order and the reason for return.

I strongly recommend obtaining proof of postage when returning any items, as goods are returned at your own risk. Unfortunately, I can’t be held responsible for any loss or damage in transit. Once I receive your return, I will send email confirmation. Your refund will be processed directly via Stripe to the debit/credit card used to purchase the order.
