Description

This little dishes are from beautifully coloured Bullseye fusing glass and the top is bordered by pretty transparent dichroic glass. In the centre I’ve added a Dichroic glass heart which is fused into place to become one with the dish.
.
A really super little dish, very tactile. Perfect to hold your rings, earrings or it can just be a pretty ornament on your table.

Made from Bullseye glass, handcut, shaped, layered and decorated with a unique design.
Measuring 6 cm square and is 2.5cm deep..

I have a fusing kiln. I have lots of glass and an addiction to making beautiful glass pieces and I absolutely love using my precious, aka expensive, dichroic glass .

Dichroic (pronounced “dye-crow-ick”) glass, literally means “two colored.” It is derived from the Greek words “di” for two, and “chroma” for color. It was thus named because of its fantastic multicolour reflective properties. It appears to have more than one color at the same time, especially when viewed with different lighting.

My kiln is only small so I make only one-off pieces, no mass production is possible.
Each piece of fused glass I make is unique and very special.
